The Good Samaritan Foundation of Texas
The Good Samaritan Foundation of Texas is a nonprofit organization that is still very much alive and active, but with a website that looks dated. This project aimed to change that.

The current website for the Good Samaritan Foundation is extremely simple and dated, lacking any sort of a logo and making the site as a whole feel less secure.

To tackle the card sorting, the website was broken down into key goals and presented to a third party to sort in order to determine how the website should be built and organized.

After organization, the features of the site were further expanded upon with determining what features would be most desirable to have. This was then categorized into feasibility.

A proto-persona was created, and their expected scenario was mapped out in order to identify where the pain points would be and how to address them.

The current state of the site, as well as the benefits it could offer, were mapped out on the Value Proposition Canvas to identify both strengths and weaknesses to utilize.

A simple logo was created and a broad style guide was crafted in order to allow for a far more vibrant and welcoming site.

The result is a website that feels more alive. It doesn't completely overhaul the site, but it gets rid of broad text fields for a focus on a clean and welcoming presentation.
