Muzemeet
The idea: To create a music-focused application that would allow users to leverage already-purchased tickets to view shows, as well as allowing a hypothetical AI engine to locate other possible acts to view.

Development of the app began with the creation of a photo-persona. This was crafted out of a general understanding that the core need would be a need for cheap concerts and a desire to learn about new artists. This was influenced by a blind survey that was sent out.

Interviews were conducted online with multiple individuals who saw at least one type of show, even a sporting event, at least once a year. From there, their responses were mapped out in a larger overall empathy map.

A problem statement was formulated from the interviews, and the group I was a part of came up with responses that aligned with the responses in order to create potential features.

The features theorized were then placed into a chart to figure out what would be most feasible to create, and it was decided that a trifecta of streaming, socializing, and being suggested bands would be the focus.

With that, a very rough paper prototype was created to show what the app could potentially look like.

With the previous prototype, a more in-depth MidFi prototype was ideated, expanding on the system by adding a more clear onboarding process.

The MidFi prototype was functional, and was taken to the same people interviewed previously for testing. They expressed what pleased them about the system and provided feedback on what could be removed from the process.

With this, the final prototype for the project was created, eliminating some of the extra parts of the onboarding process and moving the band flagging system to being independent of onboarding.
